About Us
Frederick W. Arnold D.D.S.
Since graduation from University of Detroit dental school, Dr. Arnold has continually studied the intricate and advanced details of the art of dentistry, as well as the art of human relationship. Dr. Arnold evaluates the relationship between mouth and health, as well as the physical and psychological health of the individual. He has developed the ability to help patients gain clarity on their wants and help them understand their dental needs. Quality dental care involves art and science, but without the ability to build trust and develop the relationship frequently art and science fail.
He has studied with the international groups of L.D. Pankey, Fox, Schuster Center for Professional Development, Seattle Study Club, Louisiana State University, Orognathic Bioesthetic International, and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He also serves as a consultant to the Grand Traverse Study Club and mentor at the Schuster Center. His commitment and connections provide his patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.
"In my mind, every person is a unique individual and deserving of my care and attention. I believe people are capable of making choices that are best for them, and that they are to be treated with care and respect throughout the decision making process. They deserve to have options presented to them non-judgmentally, as well as to learn about the very best modern dentistry offers to enhance their lives. Dentistry is not who I am, rather it is how I present myself to society; it's how I give back what God has given to me."
- Fred Arnold

I have been with Dr. Arnold 4 years in the business office and in dentistry
for the past 20 years. . I enjoy the friendly, comfortable feel in our
office. I am a native and 4th generation of Traverse City. I just
celebrated my 40th Wedding Anniversary and have three children, two
daughters who live here and one son in Chicago. I'm blessed to have all 5
of my grandchildren live in this area.

My career in dental hygiene began after graduating from Ferris State University in 2002. After graduation, I spent the next 6 years working in general dentistry and periodontics. At this point, my husband, Adam, and I moved to Traverse City . For the last 3 years I have been the dental hygienist on Dr. Arnold's team.
Adam and I really enjoy living in this area and appreciate how welcoming everyone has been since we've arrived. We now have a 1 year old son, Jackson, who is most definitely the center of our world. He loves to play outside so I think this "up north" living is working out well for him.
