In 2001, I was faced with a decision that would impact my life forever. I needed full-mouth reconstruction and had no idea how to begin this process and choose an appropriately skilled and knowledgeable cosmetic dentist expert.

I began the process with orthodontic procedures two to three years before I started seeing Dr. Arnold. I interviewed cosmetic dentist “experts” from Las Vegas, NV and Park City, UT to Traverse City and Kalkaska, MI. I found Dr. Arnold to be sensitive, kind, gracious confident, dedicated and more excited about his work than any other dentist I had interviewed. He told me about his continuing education and new dental procedures. I saw that he treated his staff in the office with kindness and respect. He took time to talk to me personally and professionally.

My decision was made but I was still scared to death. We started work in July 2003 and finished the process in Oct. 2005. Dr. Arnold and his staff became my family. Dr. Arnold is not only an expert in his field, academically and technically, but he adds a whole greater and unique dimension to the end results with his artistic talents. Thank you!

I have lived with my new smile and full mouth dental reconstruction for four years. I have never ever regretted my decision having Dr. Arnold do my work. I wake up every morning as I take out my appliance and every night when I place my appliance in my mouth for the night thanking Dr. Arnold with a wonderful smile. I have lost count of all of the wonderful compliments from friends, old and new, acquaintances, and perfect strangers who have stopped me and they tell me, "You have a beautiful smile."

In Her Own Words

You don’t usually realize what a difference it can make in your life to lose your smile…that is unless someone or something destroys it. After it’s destroyed, you realize how differently people look at you, and you become self-conscious. It eats at you, breaking away confidence, pride, and self-image.

When I found out about the Women’s Resource Center’s “Restore a Smile” program, I wasn’t sure if they could help me. Fortunately for me, I was blessed with a wonderful dentist who volunteered his time to help me. Dr. Frederick Arnold was one of the dentists who wanted to help restore a smile and a person. I am so lucky to have been able to get his help. My confidence has been restored and I feel like me again.

I am not afraid of what people are thinking of me when they look at me anymore!!

Thank you and I hope more dentists want to help people. I had to wait a year before Dr. Arnold was fund for me and this has been a wonderful, life-changing experience.

Dr. Arnold & Team,

I just wanted to take the time to thank you because you truly have made my life better. Before your consultation I was beginning to feel hopeless, like my problem was never going to be solved. Some people had even made comments like it was all in my head. I was beginning to believe them. I would take everything that I could: Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Imitrex. Nothing got rid of the pain. I had been to numerous other doctors and none had your positive and upbeat attitude. You made me feel comfortable the moment I stepped in your door. With out your compassion and knowledge I would not be the person I am today. You all took the time to make sure that I thoroughly understood my treatment options and treated me as a person, not just a patient. My treatment process took a long time, but you all made it so enjoyable that time just seemed to race by. Treating me seemed to be full of surprises and each of you was one step ahead of the game and not very easily discouraged. You have set my standards very high and I’m not sure if another group of providers could fully compare to all of you. You have made me feel comfortable and healthy again. You have brought back my smile and made me feel like my old self; for that I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Arnold discussed a master plan designed to rebuild my severely worn smile. Together we embarked on a course of treatment that 2 years later came full circle. Now my smile is completely restored. I’m very, very pleased with the results and the support I received from Dr. Arnold and his team throughout the process. Without a doubt this was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself and some of the friendliest people I’ve had the pleasure to work with in 50 years.
